Innovationsfluss Nahe - new series of events for entrepreneurs

Bringing science and business together in the region along the Nahe River - that is the goal of the new series of events called Innovationsfluss Nahe. It is intended to give entrepreneurs an understanding of the innovations that researchers in the region are working on and the relevance that the results can have for their own businesses. In this way, the universities can take up impulses from the companies in order to adapt even better to the needs of their region and to establish and expand cooperations with the economy of their region.

In the series Innovationsfluss Nahe, the Koblenz Chamber of Industry and Commerce with its regional offices in Bad Kreuznach and Idar-Oberstein, the Rheinhessen Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as the TH Bingen and the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld of the Trier University of Applied Sciences cooperate to promote innovations in their regions and to create a place for personal exchange between entrepreneurs and researchers from the universities. At the events in Bingen, Bad Kreuznach, Kirn and Idar-Oberstein, entrepreneurs along the Nahe River will gain insights into the latest research findings in topics relevant to the future, with a focus on personal and direct exchange between business and science.

At all events, professors from the participating universities will give a brief opening address. Afterwards, opportunities and challenges for their own companies can be explored and discussed in a relaxed setting. Business breakfasts will start on October 10, 2023 in Bingen on the topic of energy efficiency and on November 21, 2023 in Bad Kreuznach on the topic of biotechnology. In 2024, interested entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to exchange ideas on the topic of solar energy at a business lunch in Kirn on January 16, followed by a lunch on the topic of plastics and 3D printing in Idar-Oberstein on February 20.
