Four years after the flood in the Ahr Valley in July 2021, the sober look at developments in the region, science, politics and society has already become a tradition with the third Thinking Circular event to mark the anniversary.
This year, the focus was expanded through collaboration with scientists and those affected in the Valencia region. With guests from Spain, the European Parliament and European associations as well as the state government and the region, you will be offered two days of excursions through the Ahr valley, workshops and a conference under the motto “Better cooperation in the EU”.
On Friday, July 4, Benedikt Ney, Zahnen Technik GmbH, is scheduled to give a lecture on “Innovative systems for forecasting and early warning of future flood events”.
