Storck and Pfalzwerke set new standards for sustainable energy and mobility

Storck invests in solar energy at its Halle site

Storck expands its use of renewable energies by building a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 2.3 megawatts on the employee parking lots in Halle. The plant, equipped with around 5,000 Trina Vertex 450 solar modules and inverters from SMA, is due to be completed and connected to the grid by the second quarter of 2026. With this measure, Storck is tripling its existing solar power production at the site and can generate up to 2,000 megawatt hours of electricity per year, which corresponds to the average annual consumption of around 700 households.
