The euWater4i-SD<\/a> delegation trip to Peru and Colombia<\/strong> took place from June 3 to 7, 2024.<\/p>\n\n

9 European companies took part in the mission: ABO valve s.r.o.<\/a> (Cz), BIOTRAKI LTD (Bg), Bonik system ltd (Bg), Boreal Light GmbH<\/a> (De), Planetai Space Group<\/a> (Sp), PV POWER<\/a> (Bg), ricion AG<\/a> (De), Stroj\u00edrny Brno<\/a> (Cz), SWIS GmbH<\/a> (De).<\/p>\n\n

The companies could decide whether they only wanted to take part in the mission in Peru or also in the subsequent mission in Colombia. If they took part in both missions, they received financial support of \u20ac3,000\/SME<\/strong> to cover their travel and accommodation costs. <\/p>\n\n

A total of six high-level meetings<\/strong> were held in Peru with:<\/p>\n\n

– The World Bank,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– GIZ Per\u00fa,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Autoridad Nacional del Agua,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– PNSR – Programa Nacional de Saneamiento Rural,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Programa Subsectorial de Irrigaciones – MIDAGRI,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

– Centro de Competencias del Agua<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In Colombia, participants had the opportunity to visit the ACODAL Congress and Exhibition<\/a> in Cartagena. The perfect platform for EU companies to get in touch with Colombian industry leaders from the water sector. ACODAL<\/a> is the Colombian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, whose annual congress brings together executives, industry specialists, academics, professionals, experts, organizations, government representatives and other key players from the water sector. In addition to the numerous conferences, participants were able to visit the companies’ stands in the exhibition and take part in B2B meetings in a dedicated room. <\/p>\n\n

These interactions have provided companies with important information and valuable contacts to facilitate their international efforts in Peru and Colombia. euWater4i-SD would like to thank all participants and the people who welcomed us. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n
