Photovoltaik in trade and industry

Using solar energy successfully

More and more companies are committed to climate protection and sustainable business practices. In this way, they secure the basis of life for our children, our health, but also our prosperity. Numerous craft, commercial and industrial companies in Baden-Württemberg are implementing measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A good option with multiple benefits is, for example, investing in photovoltaics. It is the cheapest form of electricity generation in Baden-Württemberg from which companies can benefit directly.

In this guide (only available in German), we show you how you can implement photovoltaik projects in your company. There are a variety of possible applications for companies: in addition to a classic system on the roof, the façade, the covered parking lot or even the company's own solar park can also generate solar power. It is also important to choose an operator model for the system that suits the local conditions and your requirements. Does your company own the building? Or a tenant? Should your company invest itself? This guide gives you an overview of the current possibilities, compares options and supports you in your decision. The challenge is great: on the way to a secure, affordable, climate-friendly energy supply, photovoltaics must be used to a much greater extent. In Baden-Württemberg, 4,000 MW of PV capacity is required per year, with 1,857 MW being added in 2023.
