Our image processing department has been involved in traditional and AI-based image processing for over 25 years. We build industrial-grade inspection systems and develop solutions for the recognition, classification and characterization of images in a wide range of dimensions, wavelengths and resolutions.
In computer graphics, accurate modeling and control of structural elements such as cracks, grains and dot patterns is essential for creating realistic and detailed virtual environments. While traditional procedural methods offer flexibility, they are often unable to capture complex structural subtleties. This project focuses on improving procedural generation by integrating Point Process Texture Basis Functions (PPTBF) with Open Shading Language (OSL).
