Hammann und Theurer work with the Kaiserslautern 4.0 Competence Center for SMEs on digitazation in the water supply sector

Jörg Hamann, whose company specializes in water supply services such as leak detection, pipe location and hydrant testing, emphasizes the important role digitalization plays in the sustainability of water consumption: "Integrated networking plays a decisive role in Smart City. This aspect has already reached the drinking water industry. Data is collected and evaluated more sensitively in order to save water. Water suppliers are thus part of this digital development."
The company is continuously digitizing its office processes, internal communications and field service. In order to digitise the calendar of operations, the company works together with the Mittelstand 4.0 Competence Centre Kaiserslautern.
