Electric cars run on solar power at the Environmental Campus of Birkenfeld

Our Ecoliance member, KLE Energie GmbH, together with IBC Solar, a globally active supplier of photovoltaic and energy storage systems, has built the Zero-Emission Mobility Centre (NeMo) at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld. Three carports (96.6 kWp) and an additional carport at Neubrücke station (4 kWp) now supply around 96,000 kWh per year. This means that students, staff and guests can now load their vehicles.
