Early warning of corona with wastewater analyses
Sewage monitoring can be a sensitive tool for monitoring the spread of the corona virus.
This has been discovered by Dutch researchers at the KWR Water Research Institute. Researchers from Cranfield University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences have now also succeeded in developing a rapid test that enables the genetic material of the corona virus in wastewater to be identified.
